“He was starving …”
Recently, a woman named Audray went to grab lunch and came back with more than just a sandwich. Approaching her local diner, Audray noticed a fluffy dog nestled against the doorway. She immediately knew something was wrong.

“He was starving and showing obvious signs of neglect,” Audray wrote in a Facebook post.

Audray runs Luck’s Rescue, an organization dedicated to helping needy dogs in Dade County, Georgia. The animal expert gently coaxed the pup into her car and took him straight to the vet.
The veterinarian examined the dog and determined that he was mostly blind and suffered from a neurological disorder, causing him to move in stilted ways. Once familiar with his care needs, Audray took the dog to a foster family. Rescuers named him Einstein and gave him time and space to adjust.

Einstein enjoyed a thorough brush and a warm bath. He fell into a deep sleep, as if relaxing for the first time in a while.
Days went by, and Einstein’s energy increased. The resilient pup refused to let his blindness or neurological handicap get in the way of playing with his new dog friends.
“He’s a little clumsy and walks a little funny, but that doesn’t slow him down!” Luck’s Rescue wrote in a video about Einstein.

Eventually, Einstein met a potential adopter named Connie. The pair immediately connected, and Connie officially welcomed the pup into her family.
Now, Einstein spends his days with his new mom. He’s still a bit wobbly, and he can’t see well, but he doesn’t have to worry — Connie loves him just the way he is.
