Cowboys Micah Parsons Issues Bold Promise to ‘Limit’ Eagles in Week 1

Video: Micah Parsons Calls Cowboys 'A Damn Good Football Team' Despite 3-7 Record | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report
The Dallas Cowboys really want to show the Philadelphia Eagles that they mean business. Or, at least, they really want to talk about it.

There will never be any love lost between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.

Since the Cowboys were created in 1960, they and the Eagles have shared a deep hatred for one another. That animosity has only grown in recent years as Philly has shrugged off regular-season losses to win multiple Super Bowls.

That has some rubbed some members of the Cowboys the wrong way, and they can’t wait for their Week 1 matchup against the defending champs.

Speaking as part of a documentary on the franchise, All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons continued to talk about the Eagles in an aggressive and taunting way – making sure everyone knew it would be Dallas coming out on top in a few months to begin the 2025 season.

“They are talented as hell,” Parsons said. “(But) they’re going to get theirs. I’m not saying that we are going to shut them out. They’re going to get theirs, but are we going to limit that (expletive), though.

“We’re coming.”

To be fair …

Philadelphia is never shy about talking smack in this rivalry. Despite that, it’s a bit odd for the Cowboys to continue to talk as though they know who they’ll be having to play going into Week 1 and that they’ve got this one in the bag …

Because to write checks their bodies may not be able to cash is foolish at best.

Oh, and while Dak Prescott’s 9-4 lifetime record against Philly is a very real thing, the talk from Micah – the Harrisburg, PA native – highlights the bravado Dallas so often carries – but with little tangible results in games when it matters most.

Parsons can talk all he wants at this point. They don’t play for another four months. And he’s provided the Eagles with plenty of bulletin board material in the meantime.
