Aaron Rodgers will return for his 21st NFL season in 2025 — this time with the Pittsburgh Steelers after a storied career with the Green Bay Packers and a brief, injury-shortened stint with the New York Jets.
Now two decades into his career, Rodgers boasts a Hall of Fame-worthy résumé filled with remarkable stats and accolades. But beyond the MVPs and Super Bowl title, the 41-year-old quarterback still holds several NFL records that continue to stand out.

Among them: the best career passer rating (104.93), the best touchdown-to-interception ratio (4.34), the lowest career interception percentage (1.4%), and the highest single-season passer rating (122.5). Rodgers has also won four NFL MVP awards — the second most in league history, behind only Peyton Manning.
Now entering what is expected to be his final NFL season, Rodgers will likely add a few more milestones to his résumé — including one that could come at the expense of a former teammate.
“Last season, Aaron Rodgers became just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 500 touchdowns in his career,” CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan wrote. “As he enters the 2025 season, the newly signed Pittsburgh Steelers signal-caller sits at 503 passing touchdowns, which has him ranked fifth all-time. With just six more touchdown passes, however, he’ll leapfrog over former teammate and fellow Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre (508) for fourth all-time.”
“Last season, Rodgers averaged 1.6 passing touchdowns per game. If we round that up to two passing touchdowns per game, he could surpass Favre in Week 3 when Pittsburgh travels to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots.”

Rodgers also has a chance to join a very exclusive club. With a win over the Packers in Week 8, he would become just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to defeat all 32 teams — joining Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.
However, not all records are safe. While Rodgers once set the mark by reaching 250 career passing touchdowns in just 121 games, Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is quickly closing in. Mahomes already has 245 touchdown passes in just 112 regular-season games.
