The Green Bay Packers’ trip to Seattle in Week 15 was notable for at least a few reasons.

Aaron Rodgers noticed one of them while watching the game between the Packers and the Seahawks on the plane following the New York Jets’ victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday.

During a recent appearance on the “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers said he was stunned to see so many Packers fans watching the game at Lumen Field.

“What I couldn’t believe … how many freakin’ Packer fans were there,” Rodgers said (h/t Christopher Kuhagen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel). “That never happened back in the day. I heard a ‘Go Pack Go’ chant in like the second quarter.”

“What in the hell is going on?” continued”That’s the wildest thing ever, and the Packers were on offense.”

Aaron Rodgers also took a subtle jab at Seahawks supporters.

“Shoutout to the Seattle fans for selling their tickets to Packers fans,” Rodgers shared. “Obviously, Packer fans don’t need a reason to show up, they’re everywhere.”

Even though Rodgers is now playing for the New York Jets, it appears that he’s still keeping tabs of his former team, which is understandable given the strong connection he has with the NFC North division franchise.

The 10-4 Packers are a win away from landing a sure seat in the NFL playoffs. As for Rodgers and the Jets, they can start planning for their vacation – if they haven’t already – with New York already out of postseason contention with just a 4-10 record after 15 weeks.

The Packers will next play the New Orleans Saints in Week 16 while the Jets will face off against the Los Angeles Rams.
