The Green Bay Packers are hoping to return to being perennial Super Bowl contenders starting in the 2025 NFL season.
Of course, they have done a great job of rebuilding while remaining competitive, making the NFL playoffs in each of the first two seasons in which Jordan Love has been their starting quarterback.
That being said, Green Bay has often looked outmatched by teams that were considered true contenders. This was especially evident last season when they went 0-6 (including Playoffs) against the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions.
And while fans and analysts can point to the fact that Love was injured for the majority of the 2024 season as an explanation for his supposed “step back,” the fact of the matter is that neither the quarterback himself nor the team will ever use injuries as an excuse for coming up short.
That being said, Love does not believe his team will come up short in 2025.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Is Looking Ahead to Big Things in 2025

When speaking to reporters earlier this month during mandatory minicamp, Love said, “My confidence level is always pretty high. But, I do feel it, each year you come into it, you gain new confidence. Every rep you take, you gain confidence.
“Obviously, coming back hear, going into year six, I’ve got confidence every year going into OTAs and understanding the process that we’ve got to go through. Now, going into my third year starting, I kind of know what is expected, to get ready for training camp, get ready for the season, and keep pushing the envelope with everything we do, pushing myself, pushing the guys, but we’re ready to go, ready for the season.”
The Packers have certainly dedicated their offseason to improving the weapons around Love. After being among the league leaders in drops last season, Green Bay added Matthew Golden and Savion Williams in the NFL Draft.
While it remains to be seen just how good the Packers offense will be with their new weapons, it is clear to see that Love thinks they can be special.
And they are ready.
