The Los Angeles Rams won the NFC West last season and upset the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL Playoffs, but their 10-7 regular season record was indicative of the struggles that they faced throughout the year. In particular, the Rams dealt with numerous injuries, specifically on the offensive side of the ball, with Pro Bowl wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua each dealing with various ailments that forced them to miss significant time.
In an effort to improve their passing game and overall health, Los Angeles decided to part ways with Kupp during the offseason. To replace him, they signed three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams, who had been previously released by the New York Jets.
Now, Adams and Nacua are primed to be one of the best pass catching duos in the NFL. But Los Angeles may be in the market for even more quality depth at the position.
The Los Angeles Rams Were Named a Top Landing Spot for Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Romeo Doubs

One of the biggest wide receiver names that has been mentioned in trade scenarios all offseason is that of Green Bay Packers pass catcher Romeo Doubs. A Los Angeles native, Doubs missed out on his chance to face his hometown team last year after being suspended by the Packers for conduct detrimental to the team.
And while both Doubs and Green Bay have said they have moved on from the situation, it has not stopped his name from being included in trade rumors. The fact that the Packers added two wide receivers in the 2025 NFL Draft has also led some to believe that he could be traded yet this offseason.
If that were to happen, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report believes that Los Angeles would be an ideal trade fit:
“The Los Angeles Rams might want to take a flier on Doubs as depth behind Davante Adams and Puka Nacua. L.A. parted with both Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson this offseason and employs passing game coordinator Aubrey Pleasant.
“Pleasant was an offensive consultant with the Packers during Doubs’ rookie campaign.”
Of all the wide receivers taken in the 2022 NFL Draft, Doubs (a fourth round pick) is tied with Drake London (a first round pick, eighth overall) for the most career touchdown receptions (15).
Would the Green Bay Packers Trade Romeo Doubs?

Wm. Glasheen USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin
There is little reason to think that the Rams would not be interested in acquiring Doubs if he were to become available. Indeed, many teams would be.
The problem, though, is that the Packers simply are not likely to part ways with him, even though he is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
To put it plainly, Doubs has excellent chemistry with Green Bay’s quarterback, Jordan Love, who targets him more frequently than any other pass catcher on the team.
Last season, Doubs finished third on the team in targets with 72. Dontayvion Wicks (76) and Jayden Reed (75) finished ahead of him while playing in all 17 games. Doubs accumulated those 72 targets while playing in just 13 games, missing three because of injuries and one because of the suspension.
In short, Love likes throwing to Doubs, and while he is under contract with the Packers, he is not going anywhere.
