- Bryce Harper (right wrist)
- Status: Day-to-day
- Harper will not be in the starting lineup for the Phillies on Friday night in Pittsburgh. The first baseman is dealing with a right wrist issue, manager Rob Thomson told reporters, including Paul Casella of MLB.com. Harper’s been dealing with the problem “for a while”, per Thomson, who believes Harper to be day-to-day. — Last updated on June 6 by Bailey Digh
- Aaron Nola (right ankle sprain)
- Status: 15-day IL
- Aaron Nola is on the injured list for the first time since 2017 with a right ankle sprain. He suffered the injury while doing agility work in the outfield of Steinbrenner Field during the Rays’ series in Tampa. The Phillies were worried about Nola overcompensating for the injury, leading to a change in mechanics — and perhaps a more serious injury. Nola could use a reset. He has a 6.16 ERA in nine starts.
- Nola was scheduled to throw live batting practice on Thursday, June 4, but the session was cancelled because the right-hander began dealing with mild stiffness in his right side. For the time being, Nola is shut down from throwing. There’s no timetable for his return. — Last updated on June 6 by Bailey Digh
