Players and staff have gone around the state visiting schools and businesses to thank them for the support they give the team.
On Saturday, they finished their trip by going to the EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon to help with a fundraising event for Children’s Wisconsin.
Packers defensive end Lukas Van Ness says that doing events like these always puts a smile on his face.
“Mr. Murphy says it best. He always says that our number one goal as a Packer is to win championships. And our number two goal is to give back to the community. And being able to be a part of an amazing trip like this, where we go around the state and give back to the amazing fans that support us and allow us to do our job. It really warms my heart,” says Van Ness.
Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy says the annual event allows that fan-to-team connection to continue to thrive.
