The Tigers might have had a rough start to the season when they were swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but they have bounced back over the past week to bring some optimism around Tiger Town.

Detroit went on to take two of three from the Seattle Mariners. Then, in their first series at Comerica Park this season, the Tigers used some theatrics to sweep their American League Central rivals, the Chicago White Sox.

Now, they go up against a New York Yankees team that has been hitting the cover off the ball over the week and change. After beating the brakes off of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Yanks picked up a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks before winning two of three against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
