The New York Giants had been long linked to both Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. This news means that Rodgers will likely play the 2025 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, or not at all.
The Giants are also interested in Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, the consensus top two quarterback prospects in 2025.
ESPN reported previously the Giants are considering moving up to the No. 1 spot.
At this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, GM Joe Schoen did not rule out the possibility of filling the position via free agency or the draft, calling quarterback moves the club’s top priority.
