Update: 4 Green Bay Packers free agents still looking for a team

Green Bay Packers, Andre Dillard

When it comes to their own free agents, though, the Packers have watched six players leave the building and sign elsewhere. AJ Dillon, Corey Ballentine, Eric Wilson, Josh Myers, Eric Stokes and Tederrall Slaton have all found new homes outside of Green Bay.

At this point, the offseason has only begun.

There are several months ahead for free agents who have yet to land in new homes. And, four Packers players are part of that group to date.

Packers free agents still looking for a job

Robert Rochell, CB

A former LA Rams fourth-round pick out of Central Arkansas, cornerback Robert Rochell spent the past two years with the Packers.

He never played a single defensive snap but was used primarily on special teams, where he played 41 percent of snaps last year and 52 percent in 2023.

At this point, the 26-year-old is going to have to work extra hard to prove he can get on the field for a team’s defensive unit.

Tyler Davis, TE

The Packers’ tight end group is an interesting one, to say the least, and Tyler Davis could still potentially be part of it.

But, an ACL tear has forced him to miss extensive time after he suffered the injury during the 2023 preseason.

It’s been a long time since Davis has played, and after spending two years on season-ending injured reserve, Davis certainly has an uphill battle.

Andre Dillard, OT

After he started a career-high 10 games for the Tennessee Titans during the 2023 season, offensive tackle Andre Dillard signed with the Packers.

Fortunately for Green Bay fans, he didn’t have to see the field much.

Dillard did not make one start and played only 13 offensive snaps all year. The 2019 first-round pick seems to have run out of time to try and fulfill his draft billing.

John Fitzpatrick, TE

A former sixth-round pick by the Atlanta Falcons, tight end John Fitzpatrick played in limited fashion for the Packers last year.

Used primarily as a blocking tight end, Fitzpatrick caught only one pass for two yards on 73 offensive snaps played.

He did appear a bit more on special teams, but through a couple of seasons, Fitzpatrick is going to be closer to a practice squad player than a depth piece.
