White Sox announce 2025 Flo Rida Postgame Concert

The White Sox are bringing back a live concert to Rate Field in 2025.

This morning, the team announced that Flo Rida will be coming to the ballpark for a live postgame concert, presented by Coca-Cola, on Friday, June 27. Everyone with a ticket to the White Sox vs. Giants game will have the chance to enjoy the show after the game.

From the White Sox’ official announcement:

Flo Rida continues to dominate the music industry with 12 chart-topping hits and more than 80 million records sold worldwide. With several albums and singles certified multiplatinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), he ranks among the best-selling artists of his generation and remains a global force in hip-hop and pop music. A five-time GRAMMY® Award nominee, Flo Rida also has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Hip-Hop Song for “Low” in 2009 and the International Dance Music Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Dance Track for “Wild Ones” in 2013. He has amassed more than 2 billion views on YouTube, and his smash hits, including the Diamond-certified “Low,” multi-platinum “Right Round,” and party anthem “My House,” have energized audiences worldwide while further cementing his superstar status.

You may remember a few years ago when the White Sox had to cancel the Vanilla Ice postgame concert they had scheduled in August. While officially cancelled due to “technical issues,” it was the same evening of the infamous shooting inside of then-Guaranteed Rate Field, for which the full story remains unclear to this day. All that is known for sure: two fans attending that Friday’s game suffered non-life threatening injuries after being struck by bullets.

Hopefully, this leads to a little bit better of an ending.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at the following link, along with a special Field Pass Package that gets fans onto the field for the concert in addition to tickets to the game.
