Belichick already left everybody in awe as he decided to coach college football at the University of North Carolina, and now he is doing one of the things he hated the most.

Coach Belichick always hated being in the spotlight, getting attention, and even answering media questions.

Now he will be under the biggest microscope as his first off-season as a college football head coach will be completely followed by a camera crew and some microphones.

The New England Patriots never appeared on a season of hard knocks before, why you might ask, well because Belichick never wanted the camera around and he did not want people to see how they prepared.

Now he must have had a change of heart because UNC will be the first college football team ever to appear on a season of Hard Knocks.

Belichick is already going to have to learn how to coach and recruit in a whole new way, and all of his greatness and learning mistakes will be for the public eye to see.

Belichick has already started to change his view on the media, as he became a member this previous year in his year off from football.

Belichick could be seen as a regular on the Pat McAfee show, as well as on the ManningCast during Monday night football, and he even created an Instagram account that he posts on.

If you told anyone else this five years ago, they would never have believed you.

As for the show, Hard Knocks has been seen expanding over the past few years.

It started as just a preseason show that would go through the highs and lows of training camp and preseason. Then, a few years ago, they added an in-season hard knocks.

This year, for the first time, they did an offseason Hard Knocks with the Giants that came out before the preseason.

This past season, they did the whole AFC North for the in-season hard knocks. Now, they will be expanding even more by adding a college football program to the show.

The deal has not officially been signed, but it is expected that it will get finalized shortly. Anytime coach Belichick is talking on a screen, it is must-see TV, so this season of Hard Knocks should be no different.
