It’s no secret that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wants to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
But he will have to wait a bit longer.
ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr. reports that Kraft, who was considered a favorite for the Class of 2025 has been passed over once again.
This was the 13th year that Kraft was considered, and he has yet to make it past the semifinal stage.
ESPN further reports that Ralph Hay, a co-founder of the National Football League and the owner of the Canton Bulldogs from 1918 to 1922, was selected by the nine-member selection committee instead.
For an owner that brought in Bill Belichick, who lead the Patriots to six Super Bowl championships, this doesn’t seem right.
He turned the franchise around, making it one that will certainly go down in NFL history. Along with the six Super Bowl titles, his resume includes 10 AFC Conference championships, 19 division titles, and 33 total playoff wins.
But, he will have to try again in 2026.
