In the video, Basara can be heard responding to the vulgar fan, telling the man wearing a green Eagles jacket to not call his fiancee names.
“She’s an ugly, dumb c***,” the Eagles fan replies. “You gonna do anything? Shut the f*** up and watch the game.”
Basara and his fiancee took the abuse in stride.
At one point in the clip, she says, “I’m ugly,” while pretending to cry. “I’m so hurt.”
Basra also explained in a post on X that he wanted no part in a physical altercation as he was in a “hostile” situation.
“It was a tough situation,” he wrote on X. “Surrounded by hostile people including 2 of his buddy’s (one his brother). If I got physical there was no good ending there.”

The Eagles organization wasn’t the only one to come down hard on the man in question. The fan is under investigation by his employers, who branded his comments “completely unacceptable.”
On Monday, BCT Partners, a management consultant firm based in New Jersey, released a statement.
The company denounced the rant by the employee and said it had begun a “full investigation” into the incident,
“The management at BCT Partners has been made aware of a video circulating involving an employee making offensive remarks outside of the workplace,” the statement on X read.
“BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously.
“As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values.
“We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all.”
