The Green Bay Packers could look to bolster their wide receiver room in the 2025 offseason, especially since Christian Watson is sidelined indefinitely due to a torn ACL, and one analyst believes they’re the perfect landing spot for Miami Dolphins wantaway star Tyreek Hill.
Tyreek Hill sparked trade buzz after expressing his discontent with the Miami Dolphins. He even edited himself in an old photo of Antonio Brown leaving the field shirtless in his final NFL game as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his profile picture on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Acquiring Hill would fill that need for the Packers and allow their other top players to slide into roles better suited to their skill sets,” Camenker wrote in his column.
“It would also keep Green Bay from relying too much on [former second-round pick and wide receiver Christian] Watson, who has been a unique downfield threat because of his 6-4 frame and 4.36-second 40 time but has struggled with injuries during his career,” he added.
Should the Green Bay Packers go for Tyreek Hill?
According to Over the Cap, the Green Bay Packers will have around $62 million in cap space this offseason, which means they have room to accommodate Tyreek Hill’s mammoth contract (especially if they let go of some players).
However, the bigger issue is how much the Green Bay Packers are willing to trade to the Miami Dolphins. Hill will turn 31 in March, so he’s slowly approaching the tail-end of his NFL career.
This season, Tyreek Hill recorded 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns in 17 games for the Miami Dolphins.
