Pittsburgh Steelers Injury Report: Star cornerback returns to practice, Justin Fields ramps up

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers were back at practice on Tuesday and they were a far healthier team than the group that trotted into Acrisure Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Justin Fields was a full participant at practice for the first time since his abdominal injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. With Russell Wilson taking a veteran’s day off from team reps, that means that Fields got the first-team reps for the day.

Meanwhile, Joey Porter Jr., who the Steelers initially thoguht was going to miss this game, was a full participant after responding well over the team’s break. It seems likely that the Steelers will have Porter against Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase, a much-welcomed sign.

Wide receiver Ben Skowronek missed the team’s game against the Chiefs, but was a limited participant with his hip injury. Jaylen Warren suffered an injury to his ribs against the Chiefs and was limited on Tuesday.

In his return to the field, wide receiver Roman Wilson was a full participant. Meanwhile, linebacker Cole Holcomb and defensive lineman Logan Lee were limited participants.
