Packers injury update: A look at Devonte Wyatt and Zayne Anderson, who went out during Vikings game

GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers have been relatively healthy this season, they’ve had a few players in and out of the lineup due to injuries. They entered the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings without cornerback Jaire Alexander, linebacker Quay Walker receiver Christian Watson and safety Evan Williams.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Monday he is unsure if top cornerback Jaire Alexander will play again this season.

Here’s the latest on two of the players that went out during the Vikings game:

Devonte Wyatt injury update

The defensive tackle left Sunday’s game and was evaluated for a concussion at halftime. He was ruled out in the third quarter.

Wyatt has 22 total tackles (16 solo), five sacks and two fumble recoveries. He’s been playing well for the defensive line, as of late, recording two sacks in the past three games.

Zayne Anderson injury update

Anderson went out during the first half after making a tackle on a kickoff. He was ruled out the rest of the game with a concussion.

While he’s primarily been used on special teams, Anderson has stepped in at safety after Williams and Javon Bullard battled injuries. Anderson made his first career interception against the New Orleans Saints, picking off a pass thrown by Spencer Rattler.

He also has 16 total tackles (13 solo) on the season.
