“What’s His Story?” Packers Sign Offensive Threat With 2 Games Left In The Season, Fans React

The Green Bay Packers are looking to split the season series with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.  Green Bay (11-4) will travel to US Bank Stadium to take on a Minnesota team (13-2) who controls their own destiny to the number one seed.

Both teams will have all the motivation they’ll need to get the win.  Green Bay decided to bring in a new face to the running back room just two weeks before the playoff start.

According to our very own Matt Lombardo:

uesday, the Packers signed rookie running back Deshaun Fenwick to the practice squad, with two games remaining in the regular season.

Originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Oregon State this spring by the New England Patriots, Fenwick was released following training camp prior to being scooped up by the Packers and added to the practice squad with two pivotal games remaining before the postseason begins.

At 6-feet and 223 pounds, Fenwick has plenty of explosiveness, rushing for 2,039 yards with 18 touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per carry, across six collegiate seasons at South Carolina and Oregon State.
