Green Bay Packers: Keisean Nixon Reveals ‘Hardest Thing To Do’ After Crushing New Orleans Saints

The Green Bay Packers did not show mercy on the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. With a mission to lock up a sure spot in the NFL playoffs, the Packers went all in against the Saints and crushed the NFC South division team via a score of 34-0 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

The Saints were missing some key players, including quarterback Derek Carr and running back Alvin Kamara due to injuries, but many were still left surprised by the manner in which the Packers dominated New Orleans.  Green Bay defensive back Keisean Nixon even shared how difficult to pitch a shutout in the NFL.

“A shutout in the NFL is the hardest thing to do, and to do it on prime time is even harder,” said following the game, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN ). “To clinch a playoff berth doing that is a hell of a deal.”

Nixon was among the many key contributors to the Packers’ dominant victory over the Saints, as he recorded three total tackles to go with a sack and a quarterback hit.

Meanwhile, the Packers’ rushing attack produced 188 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. The Packers compiled a total of 404 total yards while limiting the Saints to just 196. It was a masterclass from start to finish for the Packers, who have two more games left on their schedule in the 2024 NFL regular season.

The Packers, who improved to 11-4, have a tough assignment ahead, with the Minnesota Vikings waiting for them in Minneapolis for an NFC North rivalry game in Week 17.
