PITTSBURGH — While the Pittsburgh Steelers did not practice on Sunday, they were required to release a simulated practice report since they will play on Wednesday. That simulated report brought some good news, as the Steelers listed wide receiver George Pickens as a limited participant. That is the first time in over three weeks that Pickens has participated in practice, and it could mean that he will play against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In addition to Pickens, safety DeShon Elliott, cornerback Donte Jackson, and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi were all limited. For the start of the week, that could mean those players are also on track to suit up.
Meanwhile, quarterback Justin Fields continued to miss practice after an abdominal injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. He has not practiced since suffering the injury.
The two new injuries that popped up against the Baltimore Ravens to wide receiver Ben Skowronek (hip) and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (knee). Linebacker Tyler Matakevich popped up with a knee injury as well.
Six other veterans were estimated as veteran rest days.
