Breaking: Colin Cowherd Has Blunt Packers Message for Aaron Rodgers

The New York Jets are a complete mess, as they have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL with a 4-10 record to this point of this season.

Colin Cowherd claims Jets' Aaron Rodgers is 'done' after latest loss

It’s certainly not what Aaron Rodgers was hoping for when he joined the Jets, and amid their horrific campaign, Colin Cowherd sent the star quarterback a blunt message.

After the 2022 campaign with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers essentially forced a trade to the Jets, although he missed virtually the entire 2023 season after he tore his Achilles on the fourth play of their first game.

Rodgers’ return in 2024 came with great expectations, but the team has not come close to being competent this year.

Rodgers has not looked great on the field, which could be due to him returning from a serious injury, or the fact that he’s 41 years old.

And when looking at his struggles and New York’s as a whole, Cowherd did not hold back on the legendary quarterback, saying that this is what he gets for leaving a stable situation in Green Bay.

“This Jets thing now is a complete circus, and it’s like, you were in this great marriage in a perfect organization. You wanted out and this is what you get,” Cowherd said on his show “The Herd.” .@ColinCowherd sends a message to Aaron Rodgers:

Over time, though, their relationship frayed, and it eventually led to the two sides parting ways. Rodgers thought he could win elsewhere, and the Packers were OK with turning the ball over to Jordan Love.

The grass is not always greener, and Cowherd believes Rodgers has found that out the hard way.

From the top down, the Jets are a mess, and they will enter the upcoming offseason in need of a new head coach and general manager after they fired Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas midway through this campaign.

Beyond that, the team also has to decide what to do with Rodgers, who has played like, well, a 41-year old quarterback this year.

Time will tell what the Jets future holds, but Cowherd is right in saying that this likely was not what Rodgers was hoping for when he joined New York.
