The Green Bay Packers’ offensive struggles in 2024 revealed a troubling trend that goes beyond quarterback play.

Third-down conversions became a persistent problem, but the fault wasn’t entirely on quarterback Jordan Love.

Analyst Warren Sharp recently showed a statistic that exposes a startling reality about the Packers’ third-down woes.

That woeful percentage led the entire NFL, highlighting a receiving corps that consistently let down their quarterback in crucial moments.

Daniel Jones followed at 27.3%, while Joe Burrow (18.9%), Kirk Cousins (18.6%) and Trevor Lawrence (17.9%) completed the top five.

Love’s situation stood apart from the rest, and the numbers paint a clear picture of Green Bay’s struggles.

Miscommunication, blown routes and drops plagued the Packers throughout the season.

The receivers’ inability to execute in clutch moments created a domino effect that hampered the entire offense.

Green Bay’s drop problem extended beyond third downs.

The Packers led the NFL with 25 total drops, with Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks and Romeo Doubs among the worst in drop rate.

Reed and Wicks alone combined for 18 drops, many coming in high-pressure situations.

The franchise addressed these concerns during the offseason.

Green Bay selected wide receiver Matthew Golden in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft and added Savion Williams in the third round.

Love’s overall numbers remained solid despite the receiver issues, with 3,389 passing yards and 25 touchdowns.

His overall completion rate of 63.1 percent has room for improvement if the receivers can maintain focus.

Love has proven he can deliver when given reliable targets, but the receivers must hold up their end of the bargain.
