Taylor Swift’s acoustic rendition of ‘Shake It Off’ at the recent Tight Ends University last week is still being talked about. Swift’s performance was not only a complete surprise, but was also truly phenomenal.
A recent revelation by Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, only added to how spectacular her performance actually was.
According to Kelce’s latest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, Taylor Swift did not rehearse at all before going on stage.
Taylor Swift was actually not originally listed to perform at the Tight Ends & Friends concert.
However, Swift seemed pretty eager to perform and support her boyfriend’s cause.
She approached artist Kane Brown to ask if he was okay to collaborate and gave his team some notes to help her with her song.
“And then just went out there without practicing, and it was pitch-perfect and just killed it,” Travis Kelce revealed about his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s surprise performance at the Tight Ends & Friends concert.
Taylor Swift Goes Unnamed In Favorite Artist List By Chiefs Players
Meanwhile, an old video of Kansas City Chiefs players listing their favorite artists has resurfaced on TikTok, and Travis fans are definitely not happy.
In the video, different Chiefs players can be heard listing various artists, including NBA Youngboy, Kings of Leon, Lauryn Hill, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and many more.
However, none of them mentioned Taylor Swift.
The video did not include Travis Kelce, who of course, would have loudly and proudly announced Swift as his favorite artist ever. Still, the clip irked many social media users who felt that Swift deserved a mention, especially since she is dating their teammate.
Taylor Swift’s presence at the Chiefs’ games has truly blown up their ticket sales and also has boosted the popularity of the National Football League itself. Swift has brought in plenty of her ‘Swifties’ to football, which has been lauded by football fans everywhere.
In the 2024 NFL season, Swift was seen at multiple Chiefs games, including the Super Bowl matchup in February between the Chiefs and the Eagles. When her face was shown on the screen, Swift was shocked to hear millions of fans booing her.
