The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed into enemy territory in Week 15, set to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for a matchup against the 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles enter the game as a 6-point favorite, per ESPN BET. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Philadelphia a 61.5% chance to defeat the Steelers.
Before the Steelers attempt to pull off the upset, Pittsburgh’s backup quarterback Justin Fields took to social media to share a couple of pictures from the season.
“Gotta love it,” Fields captioned the post to over 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
Fields and the Steelers have represented the blue-collar culture that head coach Mike Tomlin has advertised all season.
The Steelers are headed into Week 15 with a 10-3 record, riding a two-game win streak. They’ve recently defeated two AFC North rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.
Pittsburgh has recently played to the success of Russell Wilson, after he took over the starting quarterback duties from Fields in Week 7. Under Wilson, the Steelers have gone 6-1.
Fields was the leading contributor for the Steelers at the beginning of the season. Entering the 2024 season, Fields was named the starter while Wilson was working through rehabilitation from a calf injury he suffered in training camp.
Under Fields, the Steelers are 4-2, suffering losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys.
In his first season with the Steelers, after being traded from the Chicago Bears, Fields has recorded five touchdowns, one interception and 1,106 yards with a 65.8 completion percentage. He’s also added five touchdowns and 281 yards on the ground.
With the help of Fields and Wilson, the Steelers currently have the seventh-best odds (+2000) to win the Super Bowl, per ESPN BET.
