FRISCO – We’re speaking more about philosophy here than we are logistics … and as much about mindset as we are money.

But having established that?

Yes, we pretty much mean it when we say that Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have five superstars waiting to get paid …

And that this franchise needs to update. It’s thinking and accelerate. It’s action and sign. All five of them as soon as possible…

Like, today.

Two critical points …

One, the gold-standard Eagles have 10 players making $10 million or more. Dallas has half that.

Two, the Eagles “use the credit card” to manipulate the cap and have a whopping $452 million in future void year allocations. Dallas has .. just $44 million in future void years.

As Lando points out, the Cowboys are simply refusing to use every tool (or loophole) available to win now.

Could this literally be accomplished? All the guys? All the money? All in one day?

Logistically, that’s obviously a toughie.

But should it be the mindset of Jerry and Stephen Jones and their roster-building cap-management work?

The Philadelphia Eagles know that answer. The Joneses should, too.
