Jordan Love’s leadership will be put in the spotlight as he enters a third season with the team as the main quarterback.
He is surrounded by young players and veterans and for new acquisition Aaron Banks, the QB1 has the capacity to deliver as the leader.
Banks signed with the team for four years worth $77 million from the San Francisco 49ers. This means more working years with Love and the rest of the Packers.
Good thing for him, Love already possess the ability to lead a team. He knew that before the organized team activities started and finally got to confirm it when they started working together on Tuesday.
“I always thought he was a really good quarterback and a really good leader. Now getting to see it up front, I don’t think anything other than that,” Banks said when asked about possible dynamics with Love.

“I think he’s a great leader. I think he leads the huddle. Not only that, he leads in the locker room and he’s just a really good player.”
Aaron Banks ready to have leadership role, too
Youth is the main weapon of the Packers and they’ve had relative success with it.
Some analysts thought they needed to inject some veteran element in the team and that’s what head coach Matt LaFleur thought he will want from Banks.
The tight end has been in the league since 2020 and played Super Bowl football multiple times already through the 49ers.

Banks himself is aware of the responsibility.
“I think I bring leadership and experience, being that I’ve played a number of playoff games. I’ve played a lot of football, and in a similar scheme. So, I think just a veteran presence but also still young.”
