Call it her OG squad. Blake Lively partied with her sisters, Robyn and Lori, at a photo exhibition in New York City on May 15, just hours after a judge struck down a new letter filed by Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, about Blake’s longtime BFF, Taylor Swift. His bombshell claim?

That Blake had threatened to release Taylor’s private texts if she didn’t release a statement of support amid the It Ends With Us stars’ dueling sexual harassment lawsuits. (Blake’s lawyer denied the allegations.)

“The sole purpose of [Freedman’s] Letter is to ‘promote public scandal’ by advancing inflammatory accusations, on information and belief, against Lively and her counsel,” wrote Judge Lewis J. Liman. “It transparently invites a press uproar by suggesting that Lively and her counsel attempted to ‘extort’ a well-known celebrity.”

It certainly did cause an uproar – like most of the filings so far. And sources exclusively tell Life & Style that all the headlines have impacted Blake and Taylor’s 10-year bond.

“Taylor still considers Blake a close friend, but she never expected to be so involved in this drama,” a source tells Life & Style, noting that Taylor has also been subpoenaed to testify. She and beau Travis Kelce had been “trying to lay low after her tour and football season ended,” adds the source, so being dragged into Blake’s battle “is a huge blow.”

And while her relative silence on the matter fueled speculation that she and Blake, 37, are feuding, says the source, the truth is that Taylor, 35, would just very much like to be excluded from the narrative.

As her rep made clear in a statement, Taylor “was not involved in any casting or creative decisions [on It Ends With Us], she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film.”

According to legal papers, the 41-year-old, who also directed It Ends With Us, describes meeting Taylor at Blake’s home and feeling pressured by the singer and Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, to use a scene that Blake had rewritten. The filing also includes a text in which Blake allegedly refers to Ryan and Taylor as her “dragons.”

That mention did “throw Taylor for a loop,” acknowledges the source, noting that the singer has admitted to suffering from major trust issues after her private conversation with Kanye West was leaked by Kim Kardashian in 2016.

“She defended herself publicly in that situation,” says the source, but kept a low profile for a year afterward.

“With Blake, it’s different. She definitely doesn’t want to disclose private details from their friendship.” They’ve been through too much together. Taylor is godparent to Blake and Ryan’s kids, “and she will always be loyal,” says the source. “There may have been some hurt feelings and miscommunication, but Taylor and Blake’s friendship will survive.”
