The Dallas Cowboys have been known to carry a mindset of “letting the leafs fall” at this point in the offseason.
Players are working out at OTAs, there is plenty of time until training camp, and there are a good amount of names still available in free agency in case the front office is desperate to shop. For now, the Cowboys want to check out what they have to work with.
There is no position the Cowboys are monitoring as closely as the cornerbacks. In a unit filled with newcomers, injuries, and overall uncertainty, there’s also no surprise that Dallas is mentioned in free agency rumors that would calm these worries.
In Bleacher Report’s latest prediction, writer Moe Moton picks the Cowboys to pursue veteran defensive back Kendall Fuller to fill multiple gaps in Dallas’ cornerback situation.
Fuller played in 11 games last season with the Miami Dolphins after he dealt with concussion and knee issues last season; he was released after missing the final two games of the year. The former third-round pick in 2016 registered 50 tackles and seven pass deflections on the season.
