The NFL is a business but that does not meant players will be shielded from pain when gets told that they are being let go. Some can’t take it that they fight their own coaches.
That’s what happened to Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur at one point.
LaFleur made a shocking revelation during an appearance on ‘Bussin’ with The Boys’ podcast. He was careful not to say any name nor give out a one tiny clue.
He said he found himself all alone with one player they recently released and he had the demeanor of someone who was not taking the news lightly.
The worse part about is that nobody would see what would have went down in that encounter.
“I had a player a couple of years back. It was just him and I. I mean, we’re in this cinderblock room, and I think he’s going to whip my a** and there’s nobody around,” LaFleur shared.
“I was just like, ‘oh, well, here it goes guys, this is the end’. And you just try to de-escalate the situation, but sometimes there’s no getting through.”

This news could have heavily affected the Packers’ season had it come out. The team will be the headline for the wrong reasons.
Former Green Bay Packers QB joked that it wasn’t him
While fans are trying to go ala-Sherlock homes stitching the scenarios to determine who that player is, a former quarterback of the team came out to shield himself.
Retired NFL player Kurt Benkert turned to X to make sure that he will not be haunted down for fighting a coach.

Fans under his post knew he was just joking. He played just one season for the team and he loves Green Bay to go angry Hulk on anyone.
they are trying to squeeze him for info. Others are dropping names.
Well, if LaFleur is hell bent in keeping the issue at that, there’s no point digging deep now.
