Bills MVP Josh Allen Favored To Repeat as Award-Winner

Bills MVP Josh Allen Favored To Repeat as Award-Winner - Yahoo Sports

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is favored to win his second straight MVP, but he isn’t alone as a favorite.

Few quarterbacks in the league have seen the kind of meteoric rise that Josh Allen has had over his career since being a top 10 pick almost eight years ago.

From a first round project, to being a player that many questioned would ever prove himself worthy, to one of the best offensive in the sport, to a league MVP, Allen’s rise has been something for the record books with the Buffalo Bills.

And it doesn’t seem like it’s about to stop either.

Following his MVP season, Allen joins fellow 2018 draft pick Lamar Jackson as combined favorites for the 2025 NFL MVP honors according to DraftKings.

The sportsbook has Allen and Jackson sharing the top spot at 11-2 odds or +550.

Jackson and Allen competed for the MVP award last season on top of just regular playoff adversaries. Buffalo and Allen won their divisional round matchup against Jackson and the Ravens 27-25 with both quarterbacks playing well.

After two straight MVP awards, Jackson is considered like Allen to be one of the best players in the league at their position. With big arms, quality weapons around them, and a unique running ability, both signal-callers are easy favorites for the top award.

Only one can win that award, though. And with upcoming matchups against top teams, the Bills and Allen should feel confident in matchup their top awards last year.

The big question, though, remains if they can win in the postseason. Allen and the Bills have yet to get past the conference title game over the last decade. And we’re sure the signal-caller would gladly trade an MVP award for a Super Bowl ring.
