Tom Brady did not call a game for the New England Patriots during his broadcast debut season with FOX Sports in 2024.
It’s a pretty slim chance he’ll call one for his former team in 2025.
The Patriots, who released their full 2025 schedule Wednesday night, play just two games on the FOX airwaves this upcoming season with home matchups in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers and Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Those matchups probably aren’t going to earn FOX’s No. 1 broadcast team of Brady and play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt.
Now, FOX hasn’t filled the “America’s Game of the Week” slot for Week 4 or Week 8 based on a schedule update on X Wednesday night. It would take a banger of a 4:25 game on CBS’ doubleheader and a weaker FOX slate in either of those weeks to put the No. 1 broadcast team at Gillette Stadium.
There are Brady intersections in 2025. The Las Vegas Raiders, with Brady as a minority owner, open the season in New England in Week 1. The Patriots also visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10 in a battle of the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s two teams from his playing career.
