Taylor Swift quoted Kanye West – on a jar of jam of all places – in a newly-unveiled photo posted by her confidante Ed Sheeran.
The Shake It Off singer, 35, penned a note for Sheeran, 34, on a jar of jam she made, writing, ‘Yo Ed – I’m really happy 4 you and I’m gonna let you finish but this is the best JAM OF ALL TIME, – T.’
The image came from a 10-year-old phone that Sheeran found – and uploaded the contents of – to a new Instagram account called @teddysoldphone, which already has 152,000 followers.
Sheeran wound up going through the long-lost piece of tech amid a copyright lawsuit involving his 2014 track Thinking Out Loud, adding in a statement on the account that going through the old phone ‘felt like a time capsule.’
The four-time Grammy-winner said he was flooded with ‘a time of life that I was in, and living at that time in 2015.’
The Swift-West rivalry began at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
West infamously interrupted Swift during her victory speech for the Best Female Video award for You Belong With Me, which had been nominated against Beyonce’s Single Ladies.
West, 47, emerged on the stage and took the microphone from Swift, telling her, ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all-time! One of the best videos of all-time.’
While the musical stars appeared to be on better terms in the years following, things blew up again after the release of West’s 2016 song Famous.
West claimed at the time that Swift had given him her blessing to refer to her as a ‘B****’ in the lyrics of the song, in a reference to the VMAs incident.
The Look What You Made Me Do songstress said in response that she never made such an agreement.
This led to a public feud with West after he and his former wife Kim Kardashian in July of 2016 released a call West and Swift had over the contents of the Famous song.
Kardashian – who split with West in 2021 and settled their divorce the following year – alluded to Swift as a snake upon the release of the call
Kardashian said in a tweet, ‘Wait it’s legit National Snake Day?!?!? They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days!’

West rehashed his feud against his longtime rival Swift during the Super Bowl in February.
He seemingly made reference to Swift at the Grammys a week before, dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track Not Like Us.
‘IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN,’ he wrote.

West in February again took aim at Swift, who he infamously stage crashed at the 2009 VMAs

Seeds of the discord between West and Swift were planted at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City
The Runaway artist added that Lamar’s diss track aimed at Drake accused the Toronto-born superstar ‘OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE.’
Lamar did not get out unscathed, as West said of the Super Bowl Halftime headliner: ‘KENDRICK IS BEING USED BY THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS AND SO AM I.’
West has been working on new music as of late and corresponding with his fans on social media about the upcoming slate of releases.
Swift appears to be dealing with the fallout of the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni legal battle, as her beau Travis Kelce unfollowed Lively’s spouse Ryan Reynolds on Instagram this week.
