Breaking: Packers Change Tune On Jaire Alexander Trade (Report) – Gridiron Heroics

The Green Bay Packers brought in some massive firepower with their 2025 NFL Draft.  Most notably, picking two wide receivers in the first three rounds showed the team that the passing game needed an upgrade.  It should also motivate the current wide receivers on the roster to up their game or they could find themselves searching for a job.

Something else that was noticeable was Green Bay not selecting a single corner back until the seventh round.  Many thought that would be a position of need after Jaire Alexander was “good as gone.”

However, things may have changed drastically.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky:

According to a source, the Packers and Jaire Alexander continue to talk about a possible resolution, which could include a reconciliation to where Alexander plays for the Packers in 2025 after all.

All options are still on the table: release, trade or return.

Alexander possibly returning to the team for the 2025 season would be massive for their defense and specifically their cornerback room.  Bringing in Nate Hobbs was a big signing, but Green Bay certainly needs depth beyond him.  Many fans have not been excited at the thought of Keisean Nixon being CB1.
