Booker, formerly an Alabama offensive lineman, was asked about his pet turtle during a press conference meet and greet April 25.
Tyler Booker, who was selected the 12th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft last week announced he will be bringing Trina, one of his pet turtles, with him to Dallas, TX as he starts his career with the Cowboys. Booker, formerly an Alabama offensive lineman, was asked about his pet turtle during a press conference meet and greet April 25.
“Trina is going to come to Dallas once I get everything settled. The terrarium … it takes a lot to transport. When I was training in Dallas, I had my dad fly from Connecticut. He met me in Dallas and we drove 8 hours to Tuscaloosa because I didn’t want them to go without their tank for too long,” Booker said.
It took some sleuthing, but I’ve found an Instagram account with Tyler’s turtles, and there are two, Turq and Trina, a pair of albino red-eared sliders. Good football ahead for Tyler Booker with the Cowboys and for Trina.
