Scott Zolak is confident Will Campbell will be on the other end of the phone.

The Patriots radio broadcaster and co-host of 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Zolak & Bertrand” predicted New England will select the LSU offensive tackle with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

“I’m stating it right now, they’re going to pick him (Campbell),” Zolak said Wednesday. “They’re going to pick him and they’re going to get a receiver in the second round. That’s what’s going to happen.”

Zolak doubled down a few days later, too.

“… The other guy that’s on the other end of that (phone) line will be Will Campbell. Number four to the Patriots, left tackle,” Zolak said Friday. “That’s where you start and we’re going to figure it out from there. That’s the feeling. That’s the vibe I get from down there. They like him, they spent a lot of time with him. He’s got three years experience, and we’re going to find out.”

Zolak added: “So I do think pick (No. 4) is going to be Will Campbell. I just think it’s — call it what you want, call it a reach. It’s a need pick.”

The former Patriots quarterback also could see Mike Vrabel’s team circling back and adding another offensive tackle. Zolak didn’t say when he felt New England would do so, but in referencing Josh Simmons and Aireontae Ersery, it’s fair to think Zolak believes it could be with another premier selection. Simmons is widely considered a first-round prospect while Ersery is thought to be a Day 2 pick.

Patriots fans will find out Thursday whether Zolak’s prediction comes to fruition.
