So much has been said about the reported conflict between best friends Taylor Swift and Blake Lively.
According to multiple reports, their years-long friendship was recently put to the test because of Lively’s legal dispute with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni.
Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, among other things, while on the set of their film, which prompted a strong response from the actor-director.
After denying all of Lively’s accusations, Baldoni hit back with a $400 million defamation lawsuit, while also dragging Swift’s name into one of his court filings.
Baldoni alleged that Lively used Swift to pressure him into making the changes she wanted on the movie, and that the “Fortnight” singer was also present in one of their post-production meetings at Lively’s New York City apartment.
It was later reported that Swift “never planned” to attend the said meeting, and that she “arrived at Lively’s penthouse to find it ongoing.” Swift reportedly did not appreciate getting dragged into the mess, and it resulted in a rift in her relationship with Lively.

However, according to a recent report by Paula Froelich of NewsNation, Swift and Lively have made amends. This is after Lively reportedly reached out to Swift to apologize, and the two have since been talking again.
A new report by Page Six backs up this claim. It also sheds light on Lively’s decision to apologize to her good friend. “It was important to Blake to be on good terms again with Taylor.
It was never her intention to hurt Taylor or cause any harm to their friendship,” Page Six’s insider said. “Blake missed their friendship and she hopes they can put this whole thing behind them.”
Page Six has also revealed Swift’s reaction to Lively’s apology. As it turns out, the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter is the type who’s quick to forgive.
Per Page Six’s source, Swift “appreciated” the apology as she “felt it was genuine and heartfelt.” “[Taylor] has no hard feelings and is ready to move forward,” said Page Six’s insider.
At this point, it appears that both Swift and Lively are open to the prospect of rebuilding their friendship after their reported rift.
Swift has recently been spending most of her time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, who is currently away from his team during the NFL offseason.
Kelce has built a friendship with Ryan Reyndols, Lively’s celebrity husband, through the years, and given how Swift and Lively have now reconciled, it’s possible that they are all spotted in public together again for the first time after an extended period — just as they did many times in the past before Lively’s legal drama.
