LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lil Nas X has disappointed fans after he shared that he declined to work with Taylor Swift for an unusual reason.
Speaking with E! News’ Francesca Amiker at GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles March 27, he said, “We were working on something. She offered to let me try a verse on something, but I couldn’t catch a vibe for it, so it didn’t happen.”
The 25-year-old also revealed that he didn’t “even want to talk about” it. He, however, noted that he’s “proud of my girl”.
Lil Nas X says he’s ‘thankful’ to Taylor Swift
“I love the album. She’s been doing her thing. She’s at the very tippety top. I’m thankful that she even considered me,” the singer added, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill.

Lil Nas X is also hopeful to work with the Grammy winner someday as he claimed, “When it happens… Global. World. Tay-tay and Nassy.”
But people online are not happy with the ‘INDUSTRY BABY’ singer’s decision.
