Named after the beloved house elf from Harry Potter, Dobby’s journey to recovery began under the careful watch of shelter staff.
A vet diagnosed him with demodicosis, a non-contagious skin condition passed from mother to pup that causes severe itching and hair loss. Dobby needed intensive treatment to soothe his skin and help his fur grow back.
Despite the challenges, Dobby’s life changed the moment he met Briley, a compassionate woman who opened both her home and heart to him.
Over six months, Dobby slowly transformed. His once dark, patchy skin gave way to healthy fur dotted with white patches.
No longer shivering from cold or fear, Dobby blossomed into a playful, loving companion who finally knew what warmth and affection felt like.
