Packers Skyrocketing As Favorites To Land 6’5″ Star For Jordan Love (Report)

The Green Bay Packers are going to have to get their passing game back on track in 2025.

Going into last season, the wide receiver group (as well as Jordan Love) figured to be a strength for this team.

However, injuries to both Love and multiple wide receivers coupled with drops led to the passing game regressing last year.

As it turns out, there could be a big move on the way that would land another star for Love.

At the moment, the Packers hold the 23rd pick in the NFL Draft, but they may consider moving up if a specific player is on their wish list:

One very intriguing name that has been dipping on draft boards just a bit is Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who was previously viewed as a potential top-five selection but is now falling into the double-digits in some mock drafts.

Well, Ryan Heckman of Lombardi Ave has concocted a trade idea in which the Packers would be able to land McMillan to provide Jordan Love with a potentially elite, towering weapon.

In his proposal, Heckman has Green Bay sending pick No. 23, a fourth-round pick and a 2026 second-rounder to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the 13th overall selection. The Packers would then snatch McMillan with No. 13.

“It’s definitely a hefty price to pay to move up 10 spots, but the Packers go and get their guy in Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan,” Heckman wrote. “The 6-foot-4 McMillan is a dominating presence whose ball skills and ability to snatch contested catches are impressive. He is the type of weapon this offense has been missing and would open up much of the field for the others in the room.”

Here is a look at McMillan’s college stats:
