Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs Updates Rehab Progress In Video Going Viral

FRISCO – Injuries have butchered the Dallas Cowboys secondary over the last few seasons. DaRon Bland missed the first half of the 2024 season and rookie Caelen Carson hardly got to see the field before he was sidelined.

But none among this group has dealt with the same injury woes like Trevon Diggs has. In fact, his last two seasons have been robbed by knee injuries.

His 2023 campaign ended after two games with a torn ACL. Diggs made it back to the field in 2024 for 11 games before another knee injury shut him down for the rest of the year.

There is no hiding that Dallas’ No. 1 corner has encountered a great deal of adversity. Nonetheless, he is grinding through the offseason to get himself right for the 2025 season.

Diggs recently uploaded some footage of his rehab progress on social media as he continues to recover from his surgery.

The Cowboys are in no rush to get him back on the field – as much as all involved talk of being ready for 2025’s Week 1 – and will work with any sort of timeline that ensures his long term health.

Dallas signed Diggs to a five-year $97 million extension before the 2023 season when this saga began, so there is some obvious frustration from the Cowboys’ end.

The Cowboys are almost frugal to a fault and have now lost the prospects of two full years with Diggs on the field.

Beyond the financials his impact has really been missed on the field. He made his name in the league by becoming a ballhawk and piling up the interceptions.

His game has evolved since to become more complete in coverage and in tackling. The hope is that the visible growth the Cowboys have witnessed through recent years can continue once he is back on the field.

This recovery process will continue through the coming months and all sides involved must exercise some patience. Nonetheless, the visuals of Diggs’ recovery are major positives as the rehab moves forward.
