Dak Prescott’s 2024 NFL season ended early. Prescott suffered a season-ending hamstring injury during the Dallas Cowboys, Week 9 road-game against the Atlanta Falcons.
And Prescott, had his contract restructured earlier this week. By restructuring Prescott’s contract, the Cowboys created $36.6 million in cap space, a source told ESPN.
The decision converted $45.75 million of Prescott’s base salary to a signing bonus, reducing his cap figure from $89.89 million to $53.29 million.
Following the contract news, Prescott appears to be spending part of his offseason rehabilitation on vacation. While in the Bahamas, Prescott was seen walking through a restaurant where he encountered a bachelorette party.
The bachelorette party appears to have been filled with Philadelphia Eagles fans, and they send Prescott a message letting him know.
This Philly bachelorette party saw Dak Prescott in the Bahamas and gave him an E-A-G-L-E-S Chant. Dak can’t escape Philly if he tried @BarstoolPhillypic.twitter.com/rwNjZAwxFo — Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) March 9, 2025 In a video posted on X by @barstoolsports, courtesy of Jhorn816 on Instagram, the group can be heard shouting the famous Eagles chant in Prescott’s direction. “E-A-G-L-E-S,” the group chanted.
Prescott did not provide the reaction the group may have hoped for, as he gave them a quick glance and looked away without as much as a wry smile.
Eagles fans have a lot to cheer about. Their team is fresh off a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.
Their quarterback, Jalen Hurts, won his first Super Bowl while being awarded the Super Bowl MVP. Despite recovering from major surgery, Prescott vowed, during an event at AT&T Stadium earlier this month, to be ready to play in the Cowboys opening game of 2025.
“I’m not gonna put a timeline on it, but I’ll be ready for the first game and when anything matters and very, very ready,” Prescott said.
