Breaking!!! Patriots Named as Potential Landing Spot for Top Free Agent Center

The New England Patriots will attempt to reshape their offensive line during the 2025 offseason. They want to improve their offensive tackle spots, one offensive guard, and their center.

With needs across the offensive line, the Patriots will likely use a combination of the 2025 NFL Draft and free agency to address those holes.

For their center position, the Patriots have been linked to one of the top free-agent centers available.

According to Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of ESPN, the Patriots are interested in Falcons center Drew Dalman, who is 26 years old and will enter his fifth NFL season.

Lopez (@LosTalksPats) March 5, 2025 Pro Football Focus ranks Dalman as the fifth-highest-graded center in the NFL for 2024.

The Patriots’ center in 2024, David Andrews, was ranked 41st, while backup center Ben Brown was ranked 55th.

Adding Dalman to the offensive line would be a massive boost for the Patriots, who are beginning to address the holes in their entire roster.

Protecting Drake Maye has been the priority for Mike Vrabel and the front office, and Dalman would be a great way to address that priority at center.

With the most cap space in the NFL, the Patriots would be more than capable of affording Dalman.

Most centers aren’t paid above $10 million a year, and Dalman would likely earn slightly above that in free agency.

As long as the Patriots remain interested in Dalman, as reported by ESPN, the Patriots seem to be a great landing spot for one of the top centers in free agency.
