Patriots Injury Report: Key Wide Receiver Limited In Practice

The Patriots saw a key member of their wide receiver group have limited participation in practice on Wednesday.

Dealing with a new ankle ailment, DeMario Douglas was among 13 players listed as limited on the Patriots’ first injury report of the week.

Douglas was the Patriots’ leading receiver in last Sunday’s blowout loss to the Dolphins, with 62 yards on five catches.

Safety Jabrill Peppers was also listed as limited with a knee injury despite missing the last seven weeks. The veteran safety was removed from the Commissioner Exempt List on Monday. Peppers landed on the list when he was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine.

After popping up on the injury report last week with a hip issue, Christian Gonzalez was a full participant on Wednesday, and Jaquelin Roy returned to practice after missing all of last week with a neck injury.
