The Green Bay Packers may finally see their former four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the same field in a different uniform. After his two year stint with the New York Jets, Rodgers will be looking for a new team going into 2025.
That team could be hosting Green Bay in 2025.
Breaking: Packers’ Odds Of Facing Aaron Rodgers In 2025 Sky Rocket (Report)

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic:
After missing out on Matthew Stafford, the New York Giants are shifting their interest toward another big target in soon-to-be free agent Aaron Rodgers, league sources said.
The Giants have discussed the idea of pursuing Rodgers during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week, per league sources. The news comes after Stafford, a top offseason target for New York, agreed to a restructured deal to stay with the Los Angeles Rams.
While Rodgers, 41, is still under contract with the New York Jets, the club is expected to move on from the veteran quarterback when the 2025 league year begins on March 12. The four-time MVP is not believed to have a robust market, but Rodgers could end up fitting the bill as a stopgap, at the least, in the Giants’ ongoing search for a starting quarterback.
During the past few years, Rodgers’ play has declined while distractions around him have risen. Rodgers’ contract demands should be considerably lower than Stafford’s, and signing him will not involve draft compensation. The Giants could benefit from this.
After missing most of the 2023 season with a torn Achilles, Rodgers threw 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season. Rodgers was the starting quarterback for the Jets during a tumultuous season in 2024 that led to a major organizational overhaul.
