On the same day that Harold Landry III is granted permission to seek a trade, Los Angeles Rams guard and former Pro Bowler Jonah Jackson is also permitted to seek a trade.
With the New England Patriots needing help on the offensive line, this might be the perfect deal for them. The #Rams have given guard Jonah Williams permission to seek a trade, per sources.
Former Pro Bowler in Detroit signed big free agent deal with L.A. last year but played four games due to injury and benching.

He then reaggravated the injury in the Rams’ Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
With the injury, he missed most of the season. Once he returned, he started one game before being benched. He would only appear in one more regular-season game.
Jackson, who was once a Pro Bowler with the Detroit Lions, signed a three-year deal with the Rams last March. This means the Patriots would have him for at least two more years if they traded for him.
The 28-year-old guard is looking for a fresh start, and he is exactly what Drake Maye and the Patriots need. Trading for Jackson would also give the Patriots more flexibility with their first-round pick.
If Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter is available at No. 4, they can pick one of those game-changing rookies without having to worry about not bolstering the offensive line.
Additionally, if the Patriots wanted to trade down, they could do so without worrying about missing out on Will Campbell or Josh Simmons.
This trade would allow them to draft an offensive lineman if they feel that is their best option, but it also gives them the flexibility to look elsewhere without worry.
Jackson would be a great veteran leader to bring into a young locker room while helping the offensive line the Patriots desperately need.
Jackson is also a fantastic run blocker, which is very important for Bill Belichick-coached teams, and an excellent pass blocker when healthy.
The Patriots should consider making Jackson’s new home in New England.
