SHOCK!!! This NFL GM’s Prediction Would Be Terrible For Patriots…

Matthew Stafford took the Los Angeles Rams to glory with a Super Bowl LVI win.

Now, he could find his third NFL franchise in a move that could indirectly affect the New England Patriots.

This NFL GM's Prediction Would Be Terrible For Patriots

NBC’s Mike Florio shared a prediction from an anonymous NFL general manager that predicted the New York Giants would acquire Stafford, and Aaron Rodgers would find his third NFL home with the Rams.

If the Giants land Stafford, the Patriots lose a suitor for a crucial draft day scenario.

The Patriots do not need a quarterback on draft day after hitting with the pick of Drake Maye last year. New England holds the No. 4 selection.

The franchise needs talent across the board and would benefit if the teams in front of them lock in on top quarterback prospects Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward.

If the Giants trade for Stafford, they’ll either trade off the pick backward (if not dealt in the Stafford deal) or take another skill player that would make sense for New England.

To ensure a talent such as Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter is on the board at No. 4, the Patriots should root for Stafford to land elsewhere for a productive first round once again.
