The Source |SOURCE SPORTS: [WATCH] Dodgers Pitcher Bobby Miller Hit In The Head With Line Drive

A frightening moment unfolded during the Dodgers’ first spring training game of the season on Thursday when pitcher Bobby Miller was struck in the forehead by a scorching line drive.

The incident occurred in the second inning of L.A.’s exhibition matchup against the Chicago Cubs at Camelback Ranch in Arizona. Miller had just delivered a curveball to Michael Busch when Busch connected with a 105.5 MPH rocket straight back at the mound.

Miller had no time to react, and the ball hit him squarely in the head, sending the 25-year-old pitcher crashing to the ground in visible pain. Fortunately, after a few tense moments, Miller was able to get to his feet and walk off the field under his own power, heading to the Dodgers’ locker room for further evaluation.

Miller, who showed promise as a rookie in 2023, battled injuries throughout last season and was looking to bounce back in 2025. The Dodgers have yet to provide an official update on his condition.

At the time of the incident, the Dodgers trailed the Cubs 6-3 in their preseason opener.
