Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman could put the bad taste of a 2017 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles behind him for a moment on Sunday.
Edelman, an analyst with FOX for the game, dropped a note for Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown in the locker room before the game in New Orleans.
Brown, who has been with the Eagles since 2022, caught a touchdown in the 40-22 blowout of the Kansas City Chiefs.

“It mean the world to me … I grew up a Patriots fan,” Brown told the FOX crew afterward. “This guy is very special to me. I watched him year after year, him and Tom (Brady).”
“Those guys are very special to me,” Brown added.
Brown played in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years.
The Eagles returned to avenge a loss to the Chiefs from the 2022 Super Bowl.
He had three catches for 43 yards and a score on Sunday.
Edelman had many great moments with the Patriots in Super Bowls, which included the Super Bowl MVP in the 2018 season. He won three titles overall with the Patriots where he played from 2009 to 2020.
The former Patriots star had 620 receptions for 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns in his career.
