The Green Bay Packers are widely expected to have a big-time offseason. After coming up short in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, Brian Gutekunst made it very clear that he wants to be competing for championships.

With that in mind, the question becomes, where do the Packers try to make their splash move?

Many believe that bringing in a pass rusher will be a primary objective for Green Bay. To that end, they have been connected as trade suitors for both Myles Garrett and Maxx Crosby.

Plenty of trade ideas have been suggested for the Packers to acquire each of those two superstars.

A new trade package has been suggested between Green Bay and the Las Vegas Raiders that would bring Crosby to Lambeau Field.

For the Packers, giving up a second-round pick this year and not parting with a first-round pick until 2026 would be ideal. This is a trade that Green Bay should jump on if it’s ever on the table.

During the 2024 season with the Raiders, Crosby ended up playing in 12 games. He racked up 45 total tackles to go along with 7.5 sacks and five defended passes.

Back in 2023, he played a full 17-game season. He totaled 90 tackles, 14.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two defended passes in that campaign.

Those are the kind of impactful numbers that the Packers’ defense needs to add in order to take the next step. Crosby would be an absolute wrecking ball in Jeff Hafley’s defensive system.

Granted, there is no guarantee that Green Bay will actually make a splash like this one. But, it’s intriguing to think about and is certainly on the table as a possibility.
